Pinoy dishes Lumpiang Shanghai and Tortang Talong are the best-rated Southeast Asian food by TasteAtlas.
On Facebook, Monday, Taste Atlas announced their best-rated Southeast Asian food. Filipino staples Lumpiang Shanghai and Tortang Talong took over the top spots with a 4.8 rating out of 5 stars.On their website, TasteAtlas described Lumpiang Shanghai as "the most popular variety of lumpia, the crispy deep-fried Filipino snack that evolved from Chinese spring rolls."
Meanwhile, the food review website described Tortang Talong as a "a simple Filipino dish made with a combination of roasted eggplants and lightly beaten eggs." TasteAtlas also characterized the Filipino delicacy as "inexpensive and quickly prepared" which can be "enjoyed at any time of day as a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner."
