The Pittsburgh Steelers are cutting former Arizona Cardinals cornerback Kyler McMichael.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are releasing former Arizona Cardinals cornerback Kyler McMichael, ESPN first reported. McMichael is the second known cut for the Steelers, who released wide receiverafter a flurry of injuries early in training camp at the cornerback position.
An undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in the 2022 NFL Draft, McMichael signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to start his career. When the Buccaneers cut him, McMichaelwith the Buffalo Bills on their practice squad and would be claimed off waivers when the Bills released him in 2023.an injury. He did not play the rest of the 2023 season before the Steelers snapped him up on July 30.
An Atlanta native, McMichael could rebound on the Steelers’ practice squad or sign with another team’s practice squad moving forward into the 2024 season.
