'Demolishing these outdated buildings will save the council money and free up space'
A plan has been submitted to demolish part of Watford Town Hall.
The proposal to knock down an extension to the building and replace it with temporary landscaping is currently"pending consideration" after it was submitted on Tuesday . The terrapin building, which forms part of the town hall, is next to the car park and just behind The Horns pub. It was built in 1987 and Watford Borough Council, which submitted the application, says it was never intended to be a permanent part of the building.
