The fire broke out in the tail section of the low-cost Air Busan plane, bound for Hong Kong, at Gimhae Airport.

People were sent running for their lives as flames began spreading within minutes. Firefighters at the scene work to extinguish the flames Footage shared on X shows plumes of grey smoke and flames rising from the scene, near the main building of Gimhae Airport. One person has been injured, Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korean authorities. All passengers and crew were able to escape and there were no casualties. The incident happened earlier today at 10.30 pm local time .
