A TikTok user has shared a 'game-changing' hack for plane passengers who want to avoid touching the bin in the toilet - and it turns out they weren't the only person not to know it existed
Regardless of how frequently you travel by air, it appears there are always new things to discovery about planes.
Plane toilets aren't known for being particularly pleasant, with the rubbish bin, typically located near the sink and intended for paper towels post-hand wash, requiring most people to manually depress its lid when disposing waste. However, this recent revelation reveals this doesn't have to be the case.
"I work on a plane and have never seen that," one person commented. Another chimed in: "Just learned so thank you! I hate touching that thing! In addition to all the things in the plane bathroom."
