A new takeaway could open in Cumbernauld Village if a planning application is approved by North Lanarkshire Council.

Plans submitted alongside the application provide details of planned changes to the building’s interior, which would include a waiting area and small bistro in addition to a kitchen, preparation area and food storage.Several other properties in Main Street have been informed of the application although at time of writing no comments had been published on the council’s website.
