Outline planning permission is already in place for a 160-room hotel
Developers have submitted revised plans for a hotel next to the Winter Gardens in Blackpool with more than 100 extra bedrooms now proposed.
The application is seeking to vary the conditions of the already approved scheme, rather than starting from scratch with a new application. New pictures of the scheme have also been drawn up by architects Studio Moren on behalf of Mottram Estates and C1 Capital Partners, who have been working with Blackpool Council for the past year.
Similar to the previous scheme, the proposed hotel would have five storeys plus a mezzanine level for car parking, service area and cycle storage. The ground floor would comprise hotel public areas, a gym and a drive-through drop-off point with bedrooms on the upper four floors. The main entrances to the building would be located on Adelaide Street and Leopold Grove.
