In the third instalment of the ITV thriller, Lisa was on a mission to learn the truth about her death, after it was written off by the police.
In the latest episode of Platform 7, fans were left utterly heartbroken by the revealing scenes detailing how the character Lisa, portrayed by Jasmine Jobson, met her untimely end.
The relationship began to unveil its fractures, particularly during a scene where an argument with Matty turned hostile, causing Lisa to flee to a nearby park in distress. Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media to express their surprise and delight at spotting the familiar face, with one tweeting: "D.S. Swain from #Corrie has transferred to #Platform7 as well as Toxic Tom from #Emmerdale!".
In the episode, Lisa discovered that Matty had installed spyware on her phone and decided to confront him, outraged by his deceit.
