Sony have announced the release of the new PlayStation 5 Pro with a host of brand new features, but not everyone is happy as fans have spotted one crucial thing it does not have
The electronics company took to social media yesterday and unveiled its PlayStation 5 Pro, which boasts "larger GPU, advanced ray tracing, AI-driven upscaling and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution".
But the lack of disc drive means physical games purchased by owners of the regular PlayStation 5 will not be able to be used on the Pro. There will also be no backwards compatibility for games on Sony's previous generation consoles. "Sony, just include the disc drive," one X user responded. "It will help a lot of physical disc users." A third penned angrily: "You have missed the mark here by a flipping mile! No backwards compatibility, no stand, no disc drive! For that price point, not only no, but hell no."
