A PlayStation State of Play September 2024 leak has fuelled hopes the PS5 Pro will be announced by Sony during the month.
PlayStation fans have had a strong year so far. Concord has been a flop, but other PS5 console exclusives this year include Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Stellar Blade. Even more excellent games are set to arrive soon, and a leak suggests a State of Play is happening in September 2024. While unofficial, the hope is that this rumored event will see the announcement of the PS5 Pro. There is a lot happening for Sony next month.
While no date was given, “by the end of September” could imply the final full week of the month which is the 23rd to the 27th, or the final Monday which lands on the 30th. In addition to claiming there will be a State of Play, Jeff Grubb also commented on the PS5 Pro. He said, “Last I heard, this thing is still coming out this year”. He also said he doesn’t know if it will be at State of Play, and asked “but where else would it be?”.
