Council bosses have insisted they will work hard “to deliver on the aspirations” of Highland Perthshire after a failed bid to create Tay Forest National Park.

The proposed park would have sat between the existing Cairngorms National Park and the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Out of 352 respondents, 57 per cent were in favour and 33 per cent were opposed.
