The bus crash in the Hunter Valley which killed 10 people is a “shocking tragedy”, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“Such significant loss of life brings back memories of bus crashes in Grafton and Kempsey in 1989, where more than 20 people were killed in each of those accidents,” Mr Clennell said.

“The PM, who has been in Canberra all weekend, fronted an early mornings press conference with some words of comfort for victims, families and first responders and showed he knows this is something that will stay with people for years.”
