Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced the appointment of Air Vice-Marshal Darren Goldie as Australia’s first national cyber security coordinator for “essential” protection.
“We see this as a vital component of what modern government needs to do to respond to what are
new and emerging challenges, which are there,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Friday.
