Summerlike heat turns on tomorrow as we say goodbye to our below-average temperatures for the foreseeable future. The rain showers marking the airmass switch flipping should continue to ease this evening — fewer and fewer raindrops with each passing hour.
Showers after dark can’t be ruled out but they should be brief and light. Skies slowly clear, especially after midnight. Temperatures don’t dip much, mainly hovering in the low-to-mid 50s, as the warm front completes its passage and the atmosphere humidifies and turns slowly more summery around us. Patchy fog near and around sunrise is a good bet as southerly breezes calm with time.
Patchy fog and a few clouds should clear during the early morning hours. Sky conditions shoot for mostly sunny during the majority of the day. A couple late day breezes from the southwest may gust near 20 mph, but it may be refreshing since high temperatures aim to within a few degrees of 85. Early-season heat has arrived.Overnight, any brief evening clouds yield to mostly clear skies overall.
