Newly installed Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. on Tuesday said he is not yet planning to implement a revamp in the police organization
“When it comes to revamps, wala pa tayong iniisip na revamps ,” Acorda said at a press conference right after his first command conference as PNP Chief.Furthermore, any movements in the police organization would be based on policies, guidelines, merit, ability, capability, and moral ascendancy.
“This SOPB will be empowered to make sure that no policies are violated and also the candidates are scrutinized,” he added.
