THE Philippine National Police said that it has revoked 240 firearm licenses and confiscated 684 firearms in four years.In 2022, 41 licenses to own firearms were revoked for various violations, leading to the confiscation of 201 firearms.
'We will not tolerate the abuse of firearms by those who are involved in nefarious activities,' FEO chief Col. Kenneth Lucas said.'These revocations send a clear message that we will take action against those who use or possess firearms illegally,' he added.
