Point Blank, a popular shooting range and bar in Liverpool, has announced its closure following the landlord's decision to redevelop the premise. The business will continue to operate in Manchester and Newcastle, with hopes of returning to Liverpool in the future.

Bar and shooting range Point Blank has issued a statement announcing its closure. The Castle Street venue offered guests an interactive experience with more than 200 shooting games to enjoy. Point Blank closed on December 21 following the landlord's decision to redevelop the premise. The business's Manchester and Newcastle sites will operate as normal with hopes to return to Liverpool at some point in the future.

A statement from Point Blank shared online reads: 'It is with heavy hearts we must announce that on the 21st of December we broke down our bars and locked our ranges for the final time in Liverpool. As you may have read in the local press, our landlord has decided to redevelop our home on Castle Street. 'We’re incredibly proud to have been part of what is undeniably one of the greatest cities! Thank you to everyone who visited us over the years — from wild Saturday nights to epic family tournaments, we’ve loved every moment! 'Our success is down to our incredible team. The reviews speak for themselves, but more than that, each team member is truly appreciated and loved. Thank you for being part of the Point Blank fam! We know you’ll all go on to do great things, and anyone who gets to work with you next is unbelievably lucky. The post continued: 'This isn’t the end for Point Blank! With thriving venues in Manchester and Newcastle, our hardy northern brand is still going strong — and who knows, Liverpool… If the chance came up, WE’D BE BACK IN A SHOT! So, it’s goodbye for now and we wish everyone the most wonderful 2025.' Customers issued their farewells to Point Blank online and labelled the closure 'terrible news.' A user on Instagram said : 'Oh no, this is terrible news. Really hope you find a new suitable venue soon, we’ve loved our visits x.' Another said: 'This had made my heart hurt what a venue it was!!!' A third said: 'No way! Gutted about this, we loved coming to visit.
