Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong has shared his thoughts on going head-to-head with his former co-star Richard Osman as they both release a book on the same day
The telly favourite was chatting on ITV 's Lorraine this Thursday about his new release, Evenfall - The Golden Linnet, a fantastical book aimed at kids between 9-12, brimming with adventures, arcane magic and hidden societies.
Lorraine Kelly, while presenting Alexander and his first foray into children's literature, remarked: "Alexander Armstrong releasing his first ever children's book. It's called Evenfall- The Golden Linnet and he joins me now," reports the Mirror. To which Armstrong responded, "Well, I don't know." He then said Richard has continued to be a beacon of support to him over the years, especially with regards to his latest endeavour.
The pair, notorious for their daily appearances together on BBC's quiz sensation Pointless – with Armstrong at the helm and Osman serving as his reliable fact-dispensing sidekick – have maintained a strong bond offscreen. Richard was a staple on the Pointless roster from its inception in 2009, but he chose to step down in 2022.
