A man snatched a necklace from a woman sitting on a bench in Burton Row, Hunslet, on June 10. Police have released CCTV images to help identify the suspect.
A man made off with the woman's necklace while snatching it from behind as she sat on a benchin Hunslet where a woman was approached from behind and had her jewellery ripped from her neck.
Officers in the city have released CCTV images of the man they would like to speak to in connection with the crime, which took place in Burton Row, at around 4.45pm, on Wednesday, June 10.spokesman said :"Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a jewellery robbery yesterday in Hunslet, Leeds.
"It happened around 4.45pm on Wednesday 10 June, in the park area on Burton Row. A woman had been sat on a bench when a man approached her and pulled jewellery from around her neck which he then made off with. Officers would like to identify the man in the image, as he may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
"Anyone who knows the man pictured or who has information regarding the incident is asked to contact Leeds District Crime Team either online at or by calling 101 quoting Operation Beadpark 13260329036. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
