New images have been released after six arrests were made
Police have released new images of three people they want to speak to after a teenager was allegedly punched, kicked and stamped on before having his e-bike stolen nearThe robbery happened on Tithebarn Street at around 8.15pm on May 2.
According to police, the 19-year-old victim was approached by a group of people before being hit to the back of the head and pushed to the floor. It is alleged the group then kicked and stamped on him before running away. The victim later realised his £300 e-bike had been stolen.
Officers previously released a number of images as part of the investigation and say five people have since been identified, while six arrests have also been made on suspicion of robbery. Officers have now issued fresh images of three more people they would like to identify as enquiries continue.saying: "You’ll remember us asking for your help identifying some people who we wanted to speak to in connection with a report of robbery in Preston.
To update you – five of the people in those images have been identified, and six people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
"We have some new images to share with you, as we continue our enquiries to identify the people in them. The robbery happened on 2nd May where it was reported that a 19-year-old man was near the bus station on Tithebarn Street, at around 8:15pm, when he was approached by a group, hit to the back of the head and pushed to the floor before the group began to kick and stamp on him.
"As the group ran off, the man realised his £300 e-bike had been stolen. Your assistance helped us identify the others in our initial appeal, so we are sharing these new stills in the hope that your help can again, aid us in identifying them..police.uk quoting log 1450 of 2nd May. "
