The suspects stole approximately £7,000 worth of goods, including gold jewelry, watches, accessories, a designer handbag, and several bottles of vintage whiskey or cognac. The burglary was reported to police on January 18th at 8:43 am.
Officers are urging anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area during the incident to come forward. Laura Cruise, from the Lancashire Constabulary Burglary team, stated, 'An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing following this high-value burglary of many sentimental items. If you can help us in any way, even if you think it might be insignificant, please do not hesitate to get in touch and help us return these items to their owners, who were away from the property at the time of the burglary.' Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact Lancashire Police by dialing 101 and quoting log 221 of January 27.
