The man was found dead on Monday - police say they are 'keeping an open mind'

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a house in Wigan earlier this week.

Police and paramedics were called to a terraced home on Ince Green Lane in Ince at around 6.30pm on Monday. A 20-year-old died at the property despite 'the best efforts of emergency services personnel', said Greater Manchester Police. Today the force revealed three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They have been arrested and released on bail while enquiries continue. Police say they are 'keeping an open' mind about the death.Detective Chief Inspector Hayley Riley, of GMP’s Wigan Division, said: "I want to reassure the residents of Wigan and Ince that we are keeping an open mind in this case and are investigating a number of lines of enquiry.

"We understand the concern that an incident such as this will cause our communities and we are working with partner agencies and local authorities to minimise disruption and do all we can to keep our residents safe. "We are also working closely with local partners to ensure we remain engaged with the local community and we are here to answer any of your concerns.Anyone with CCTV, dashcam or Ring doorbell footage in relation to this incident is urged to contact Wigan CID on 0161 856 3034 or call Crimestoppers - anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
