A crime scene investigation van arrived at the scene at around 4pm on Tuesday, September 3
Police have been called to a city jewellers after a break-in. Officers in cars and Crime Scene Investigation vans appeared on Queen Street at just after 4pm on Tuesday, September 3.
Officers were seen standing outside the shop with shop workers removing some items from display not long after the incident had happened. Cope Jewellers declined to comment when approached by Nottinghamshire Live due to the recency of the incident. They say that the force was called at 1.48pm. Two people entered the store wearing motorcycle helmets, stole jewellery items and rode away on a black motorbike with distinctive blue forks.
