Merseyside Police has given an update after one of its vehicles was badly damaged
A police car badly damaged in a crash last night had been responding to an emergency incident. Merseyside Police issued a statement following the crash on Utting Avenue East, in Norris Green at around 10pm. Pictures from the scene show extensive damage to the police car. A witness told the ECHO : ' looks like a write-off. It doesn't look like another car is involved but a nearby car has minor damage.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: 'We can confirm that a collision occurred last night, Thursday 28 November, which involved a police car that was responding to an emergency incident. The incident occurred at around 10pm on Utting Avenue East, in Norris Green, and thankfully there were no injuries.' For the latest news and breaking news visit liverpoolecho.co.
