Concerns are growing for the wellbeing of a granny said to be at "high risk" after she mysteriously disappeared over 24 hours ago.

Angela Keenan's family and the police have launched a desperate appeal to help bring the 58-year-old home. She was last seen in the Laxton Drive area of Lenzie, around 7am, on Tuesday April 2. She is believed to be travelling in a black Kia Venga, with registration SD63 VLL, and thought to be wearing a black puffer jacket, black jeans, grey bootleg slippers and silver bangles on her right wrist.READ MORE: Dumbarton support worker repeatedly stole from vulnerable person amounting to hundreds of pounds

Angela is described as white, of slim build and 5ft 4 with blonde hair usually tied back in a ponytail. Her concerned daughter, frantic with worry, previously told GlasgowLive: "I was last on the phone to her at 9.30pm she was at home, we're all worried sick she's a very high risk missing person."Inspector Michael Booker added: "Along with her family, we are concerned for Angela’s wellbeing and are appealing for anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible.
