Officers had a warrant to arrest the man and thought there was no one to be found in the property except a friendly dog
In a surprising bid to elude police officers, a wanted man was found scantily clad in just his undergarments, ingeniously concealed within the base of a sofa.
As they delved deeper into the property, overturning furniture, they stumbled upon the scarcely dressed suspect nestled inside the couch's base. An officer humorously remarked: "Oh look, he's hiding in the sofa. Out you come."A representative from Bedfordshire Police quipped: "We've seen some things in our time, but we must say this is a first."
