Police have most likely seen all manner of strange things illegal drugs have been hidden inside to smuggle them to customers.Italian police seized a package containing, yes, hundreds of coffee beans with cocaine inside.
Around 500 beans had been cut open, stuffed with the white powder, and carefully taped closed again with tape. Now that’s dedication.But despite the apparently carefully planned crime, the name on the package gave the game away. Officers said their suspicions were initially raised when they saw the name ‘Santino D’Antonio’ on the packets — a mafia boss in the American action film John Wick.The 2kg package contained 150g of cocaine powder Police intercepted the package after it had been sent from Medellin, in Colombia, to Milan’s Malpensa airport.Officers followed the package as it was delivered to a tobacco shop in Florence and arrested the 50-year-old man who collected it.
