Police are hunting for a ute driver after a man was killed in an alleged road rage hit-and-run incident in Sydney’s west on Thursday.
It was around 8.45am in Blackett, near Mount Druitt, when passersby reported a 27-year-old man had been hit by a car on busy Jersey Road.The man had been hit by a ute, which fled the scene and did not stop to help, police were told. The young man was wearing high visibility clothing when police found him severely injured in the road.Police are hunting for a driver after a man was killed in a road rage incident in Blackett.A crime scene has been established. Police were seen taking photographs of evidence including a single black Vans shoe.
The road was busy at the time with parents dropping off children to the several schools nearby, and a busy shopping centre also close. Police are now asking the public to help them find the driver of a ute, who they believe can help with their investigation.An image released by police shows a white ute with a metal black tray, a black canopy and a black toolbox with metal racks on top.Anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV or any information about the incident that may help police should contact Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers.
