The incident occurred just before 2am on Main Road when a vehicle lost control, becoming airborne and crashing through shrubs, letterboxes, a fence, and a business wall. The car then collided with a parked vehicle and ended up in the living room of a nearby residence.
A witness, Hazel Walker, reported hearing a loud bang and found the situation shocking, noting that speeding is common in the area. A 23-year-old female passenger was present when emergency services arrived and was charged with disorderly behavior and hindering police. Residents are concerned about the safety of the 50 km/h zone and fear more serious accidents
