Witnesses are being urged to come forward
Officers are searching for the suspect behind a 'targeted shooting' on an Oldham street. Police were called out to Crompton Street, in Coldhurst , following reports of a firearms discharge at around 9.50pm last Friday .
The suspect is still yet to be identified, Greater Manchester Police says. There was a police presence on Crompton Street over the weekend, after shots were fired on Friday night. GMP believes the shots were 'targeted' - although they were not aimed at a specific property. The force has no details on the suspects yet, as of Wednesday .Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who has information about the incident is urged to come forward. A GMP spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a firearms discharge that took place on Friday, November 15 2024 at around 9:50pm on Crompton Street, Oldham.
"Thankfully, no one was injured. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist their investigation.
