Police are searching for a man after the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Adelaide's northern suburbs.
The girl was able to fight the man off and escapePolice said after 2:30pm on Wednesday, a teenage girl was walking along Ifould Road adjacent to Freemont Park in Elizabeth Park when she was approached by an unknown man.The girl told police she broke free, but the man grabbed her arm a second time and then grabbed her backpack.He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 40 years of age, 165 centimetres tall with short, grey hair and a chubby build.
She told the ABC the family was still trying to process what has happened and warned other teens to stay safe."Pay attention to their surroundings as every little detail helps."We are just thankful she managed to get away and is safe."Police are still investigating a separate incident from last month where aThe boy was forcibly pushed into the back seat of a car before it became stuck in traffic and he was able to escape.
