Officers are eager to speak to the man pictured below in connection with the incident on Whalley Road

Officers say the incident happened on Whalley Road on Friday, March 15, between 6pm and 9pm. An investigation is ongoing and today officers shared a CCTV picture on social media of a male they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The male is seen wearing a Nike Air hoodie and dark trousers. Anyone who recognises him is asked to call 101.In a statement on Facebook this morning, Hyndburn Police said: "Do you recognise this male? Officers want to speak to him in connection with a burglary on Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors on Friday 15th March 2024, between 6pm and 9pm.

"As part of our ongoing enquires officers want to speak with the man captured on the CCTV footage . If anyone recognises the male can they please contact Lancashire Police on 101, quote log number LC-20240316-0299, alternatively e-mail [email protected]. "You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111. Officers would like to thank the community we serve for the continued support."
