One casualty was taken to hospital
Police have issued an update after a Trafford road was closed off for several hours following a one-car crash. Emergency services were called out to Wellington Road, in Timperley , at around 4.15am on Monday .
The incident was initially being investigated by Greater Manchester Police as a serious collision. In an update issued this morning , GMP said a male casualty was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering a head injury following the crash. His injuries are not as serious as first thought, according to GMP. His age has not been confirmed. The incident is being investigated by GMP's road policing unit and no arrests have been made.
