A Facebook post, by the volunteers who look after the memorial, reads:"To the person who decided to remove the picture of The Queen and throw what looks like a pot noodle over the tributes: "The police will be notified and they will no doubt be looking at the CCTV, which covers the memorial 24/7. "This must have been done shortly before 8.50am this morning as the ground was still wet when I arrived to clean the memorial.Police Scotland has confirmed that they were called to the incident and an investigation has been launched.
