Authorities arrested three members of a San Rafael family who allegedly stole vehicles in separate cases.
A mother and daughter were arrested in San Rafael on Wednesday afternoon. The driver, identified as Diehima Sharie Collins, 34, and her mother, Letta Neka Glover, 53, allegedly traveled in a vehicle that was stolen in Newark.
Glover was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle, evasion and criminal conspiracy. Collins was arrested on the same counts plus allegations of hit-and-run driving and driving without a license.An Alameda County DA kept Black women off a jury. Officers searched the vehicle and found allegedly stolen property linked to four auto burglaries. Graham said Lowery was also connected to three attempted vehicle theft cases. The investigation remains active. Collins and Glover, whose bail amounts were $35,000, were released on bail pending further review from the Marin County District Attorney’s Office.
