An ongoing incident is taking place at Moredun Park Road in Edinburgh.
Officers from Police Scotland , paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire Rescue Service descended on Moredun Park Road at around 2pm on Tuesday, May 21.
The exact nature of the incident is unknown at this time but Edinburgh Live reports that a large emergency response remains in the area. One resident reported hearing "gunfire" around the South Edinburgh Estate while numerous local businesses say there has been a "major incident".
