Police descended on Shettleston Road around 8.45pm on Wednesday after the incident unfolded.
Officers cordoned off the scene in front of Happy Chippy takeaway and the nearby Edrom Street while investigations were carried out.A 17-year-old boy was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where his condition is currently unknown.
