The Met said a man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment and offences under the Online Safety Act
A suspect is being questioned by police after several men in political circles were targeted in a honeytrap sexting plot. The Metropolitan Police said the man was arrested in Islington, north London, on Wednesday accused of harassment and offences under the Online Safety Act.
He said he gave colleagues’ phone numbers to someone on a dating app amid fears that intimate images of himself would be leaked. Mr Wragg said he was sorry for his 'weakness' in responding.
