Another youth has been charged after the devastating fire that destroyed large parts of the building.
A third teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with the fire which ripped through the Station Hotel on Monday night.
The 13-year-old youth joins another two male teens - aged 13 and 17 - who were arrested and charged by police yesterday. Emergency services remain at the scene of the massive blaze this morning, with widespread road closures still in effect around the building. No trains will run in or out of Ayr until at least next week, with engineers from Network Rail set to examine the impact to the nearby train station in a couple of days.
The inferno burned for more than 24 hours after being set around 5.30pm on Monday night. At it's height Scottish Fire and Rescue sent 15 appliances to the scene.Parkhouse StreetPedestrian closures at Burns Statue Square and Smith Street between Station Hotel and Ayrshire Central.
