He also admitted kicking a second male officer repeatedly, shouting abuse and threats at the officers and maliciously breaking a house window in Victoria Street, Blantyre, the previous night.Neil Thomson, prosecuting, said the first officer was bitten on the finger, causing a small cut.

The fiscal stated: "He was treated in hospital. He was given a three-day course of antibiotics, a hepatitis booster injection and a tetanus vaccination due to the possibility of a blood-borne infection."The officer underwent further blood tests to ensure there was no infection.
