A policeman stabbed in a 'frenzied' machete attack is expected to make a full recovery, his bosses have said.Despite receiving serious injuries to his head and body, the officer managed to taser a 56-year-old driver who was then arrested.Witnesses described the attacker being pinned to the ground as he was arrested by another officer, who was not armed with a Taser, before being bundled into a police van.
