A man in his 50s was arrested on Wednesday
A member of staff at the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland has been arrested as the offices of the police watchdog was raided, Belfast Live can reveal.
A statement from the Police Ombudsman’s Office said it was aware the PSNI were investigating a matter related to a staff member. A spokesperson for the PSNI said a man in his 50s was arrested on Wednesday in the Church Street area of Belfast. “Arrested in the Church Street area on 20th March, the man was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
