Multiple lanes on the busy motorway are closed this evening following a crash which is understood to have involved three vehicles including a van that has ploughed into a barrier.
Emergency services scrambled to the busy M8 this evening, Wednesday June 19, following a horror multi-vehicle crash.
Police and paramedics rushed to J26 at Hillington eastbound at around 7.30pm after an accident which is understood to have involved three vehicles. The Scottish Fire and Rescue service are also said to be at the scene. Traffic Scotland confirmed that lanes one and two are closed.
