The assault took place on Byres Road at around 5.05pm on Wednesday, April 12.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they are looking to speak to following an assault near a supermarket in Glasgow's West End.

Officers say the incident took place near to the Iceland store on Byres Road within the city at around 5.05pm on Wednesday, April 12. Images released appear to show a male in the shop. Police say he may be able to assist with an enquiry into the assault.The male is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, average build with receding brown hair. He was wearing a navy top with a yellow detail on the chest and arm area, blue jeans, dark trainers and carrying a dark rucksack.
