Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace after fake bank notes were used at a Nottingham supermarket. The crime took place at some point on Saturday, August 3, at chain Asda 's store in Radford Road, Hyson Green.
Shop workers reported a customer had purchased a series of gift cards using fraudulent £20 notes, according to Nottinghamshire Police. The force has now released a photograph of a man, who they believe could have information to assist officers' investigations, and appealed for him to come forward. PC Jordan Hinds, of the City Central neighbourhood policing team, said: “The use of counterfeit bank notes is a serious offence and we are determined to bring the offender to justice. We believe the person in these images will be able to assist the investigation and I would encourage him to come forward."Likewise, I would appeal for anyone who recognises him to call 101, quoting reference 24*462876.
