An appeal has been issued
Police have issued a CCTV image of two people who could hold key information after a person was assaulted at a Metrolink stop. Officers are investigating an incident which took place at Prestwich tram stop.
Greater Manchester Police says the incident left the victim with several serious injuries. The force has today released a CCTV image showing two potential key witnesses they wish to speak to in connection with the attack. The alleged assault took place at around 9.45pm on December 14 last year, GMP says. Anyone who recognises the two men pictured is being urged to come forward.
Any witnesses are also being asked to contact GMP. A GMP Bury spokesperson said: "We are looking to speak to these men or other witnesses as we believe they can assist with investigations following an assault at Prestwich tram stop on 14/12/2024 at around 9:45pm. The victim suffered several serious injuries."
