Austin police seek suspect in June 15 hit-and-run who fled after stealing beer, striking motorcyclist; $1K reward offered.
CALDWELL and FAYETTE counties: Flood watch will be in effect from 7 AM Wednesday through 1 PM Thursday. Heavy rain likely. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run collision that injured a motorcyclist.According to the Austin Police Department, the suspect stole beer from the 7/11 located at 1100 West Parmer Lane .
The suspect is described as a Black male in his early 20s to early 30s, short to average height with a thin build. He was driving a black or dark colored 4-door sedan. Anyone with information about the suspect or incident is asked to contact the Austin Police Department at 512-974-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information that leads to an arrest.
