Police in Nottinghamshire have recovered a large collection of jewellery believed to have been stolen during burglaries. They are appealing for the public's help in identifying the rightful owners of the items.
Police have issued an urgent appeal after officers seized a large jewellery haul in a Nottinghamshire town. A collection of chains, necklaces, bracelets, and pocket watches were all found at a property in Beeston. Officers, who believe the items were stolen during a series of burglaries, have now shared pictures of the most distinctive pieces they recovered. They hope the valuable belongings will be recognised by their rightful owners through the new appeal.
Investigator Adam Karimjee, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We’d ask everyone to have a good look at these images and also scan the list of items below, which we believe to have been stolen. There is a very strong chance this collection of different and distinctive pieces of jewellery were taken from separate households, which would mean there’d be more than one victim. “Our aim is to locate each one of them, so we’d ask anyone who has lost any item matching the description of the ones recovered to get in contact with us, so we can hopefully reunite you with your belongings. This can be done by calling the police on 101, quoting incident 33 of September 9, while our team will also be able to answer any queries you have.” The below items have all been recovered
