A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 7.35pm on Sunday, 6 October 2024, police were called to General's Gate, Uddingston, where a 38-year-old man was found seriously injured. "He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead on arrival.
