West Yorkshire Police responded to reports of a youth on the roof of a building at Cardigan Fields leisure park, in Kirkstall Road, Burley, yesterday at 5.13pm.
Officers managed to bring the 16-year-old boy down safely, where he was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He was given a community resolution in relation to the incident.A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 5.13pm yesterday, police were called to a youth on the roof of a building at Cardigan Fields leisure park, in Kirkstall Road.
"The 16-year-old male was brought to safety a short time later and arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He was subsequently given a community resolution in relation to the incident." Witnesses at the time of the incident reported the young boy on the roof of the Bridgewater Arms. A pub goer said they went for a drink with someone around 6pm on Thursday, May 18, before they saw staff appeared concerned.
Onlooker Danny Marks said: "We were sat inside, then saw the staff looking at the roof outside. So, we went out and heard there was somebody on the roof and they were being asked to come down."
